Welcome to W.o.W. - Women of Wonder

The support of girlfriends without the judgment or gossip.

Does this sound like you?

  • Overwhelmed or feeling burned out by life's transitions and changes
  • Feeling like you're alone because as you've aged, it's gotten harder than when you were a younger woman or a mom of littles
  • The "stuff" of your life is feeling  bigger, harder, more unique, and personal, so you think it's better to stay quiet and figure it out alone
  • Coming out of a global pandemic, it feels like you are behind on all fronts: career, relationships, parenting
  • Unsure if there is a roadmap of how to get back to what worked, or maybe you should continue differently if that's what is needed

Why W.o.W.?

The Women of Wonder Community is the place to rediscover your old roadmap or build the new one you need right now.

Within W.o.W., I've created a safe place to say the quiet stuff out loud.

I bring to the community all the years of education and work in trauma-informed, judgment-free care that I've garnered to ensure it is a space where women feel comfortable sharing their whole authentic selves, even if they don't remember exactly who that is at this moment.

W.o.W. is a place built to bring women together so we can lift each other up and figure our shit out.

What's inside?

Still not sure?

Led by Dr. Cristie Ritz-King, the W.o.W. community is meant to be the neighborhood front porch where moms gathered while their kids played. You know, the one that Cristie's own mom told her about while reminiscing about the good old days of parenting.

The W.o.W. Community is a place to share concerns, laugh at mishaps, and cheer for success, without fear of judgment or being told your way is "the wrong way." In this space, all of us are good enough exactly as we are.

Women are magic, and you can be sure that will be reinforced inside this community. We love you. Come on over and sit on the porch for a while.

Wait. Have we met?

I've spent the better part of my life searching for ways to help people feel good in and about their lives. Due to this endless pursuit of service in the name of healing, I became a Doctor of Psychology specializing in trauma and postpartum maternal mental health.

Before becoming a counselor, I was a doula, a health coach, and a teacher in public and private schools for 12 years. I even have a Master's Degree in Education, so I know a thing or two about kids.

Maybe most important, though, is that I am a working mom of three teenagers and a wife of 25 years. (Yes, teenagers, and yes, I once lived through a year of 3 under 4!)

I love my life, but it wasn't always that way. To get my own clarity, I had to learn many of the same skills I now teach to find calm in the chaos of life. Now, the beautiful relationships I have with my kids and spouse, which I built alongside a thriving career, are the true joy of my life.

I want to help you get there too. I know the power of community. I can't wait to share that with you.
